The first Chichester Pride parade
We are over the moon to have brought Chichester its very first Pride Parade on May 25th 2024! The parade left Priory Park, paraded along Guildhall Street, down to North Street to the Market Cross and then swept right to West Street where is finished outside the beautiful Chichester Cathedral, with speeches from our co-chair & Mayor. We were delighted to see so many members of the public joining in, waving flags, cheering and having a great time. With special thanks to each and every participant, together, we made history.

Our Ethos
Our aim at Chichester Pride is to promote diversity, inclusivity, individuality, respect and unity of all communities within the city of Chichester.
We're committed to raising awareness of Pride whilst continuing to grow and support our community. Our plans to achieve this include through education, entertainment and connections at a local and national scale.
We've achieved so many milestones already, and we want to do so much more!
Chichester Pride Event
We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our events have grown and evolved over the past few years! From 2022 to 2024, each event has been a unique celebration of love, respect, and unity, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing team of supporters, volunteers, and crew. Thanks to them, every detail came together beautifully to ensure everyone felt safe and welcomed.
Our mission has always been to create a safe, inclusive space where people can express their authentic selves—and each year, we’ve exceeded that goal in exciting and inspiring ways. The 2024 event, in particular, was a standout, as we brought the festivities to the front lawn of Chichester College campus with a larger, elevated stage, a dedicated disability viewing area, and the incredible support of three BSL interpreters. These additions reflect our unwavering commitment to making our events as brilliant and accessible as possible.
